Two Industry Awards go to Event Services of America

Award-winning event: Make-A-Wish BallSCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (May 25, 2011) - Event Services of America was named winner in two award categories at the Zonies Arizona Event Industry Awards Gala held at the Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center May 20.

Event Services of America won in the categories of "Best Nonprofit Event $75,000+" for The Wish Ball and "Best Festival, Fair or Event Series $50,000+" for the Open To The Public Beer Garden at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

The awards banquet, hosted this year by the International Special Events Society Arizona Chapter, is held annually to recognize event professionals for outstanding industry achievements.

A client of one of Event Services of America’s award-winning events enthusiastically recommended the event company and President Andrea Stewart.

“It’s so wonderful to see Andrea and ESA recognized in this way among peers,” said Renee Roebuck, Chairperson of the Wish Ball ‘Celebrating 30 Years of Wishes’. “It’s always a pleasure working with Andrea, and I have complete trust in her ability to help me make all of my events first class.”

Stewart commented on the remarkable teamwork that helped make these events successful.

“Event Services of America was proud to be nominated in these categories and humbled by the awards,” said Stewart. “This recognition is a testament to the outstanding teams we have in both Arizona and Seattle.”

Award-winning event: Open to the Public Beer Garden at Waste Management OpenAccepting the award on Stewart’s behalf was Event Services of America’s Outside Sales Manager Kyra Williams.

“It was an honor to accept these awards on behalf of President Andrea Stewart and Event Services of America. The diversity of these two events reflects the amazing ability ESA has to work with a broad range of clients and venues,” said Williams after the Gala.

The Zonies Arizona Event Industry Awards are open to anyone in the event and meeting industry.  Categories include special occasions and corporate events, festivals and sporting events and décor and audio visual, to name a few.
